The East of England Plastic Surgery Training Programme

Our region’s training programme typically requires trainees to rotate for 2 years in each of our 4 main units:

Addenbrooke's Hospital, Cambridge

Broomfield Hospital, Chelmsford

Lister Hospital, Stevenage

Norfolk & Norwich University Hospitals, Norwich

Each of these hospitals serves a large population and our region has a large geographic catchment area, covering East Anglia and beyond!

Our trainees have given us excellent feedback regarding the rotation, with consistently high scores in the GMC training survey for 'Clinical Supervision', 'Educational Supervision', gaining 'Adequate Experience', 'Curriculum Coverage' and 'Overall Satisfaction'

Our current Training Programme Director is Mr Martin Heaton (Consultant Plastic Surgeon, Norwich), and the Deputy Training Programme Director is Ms Monica Fawzy (Consultant Plastic Surgeon, Norwich) and the Regional Trainee Representative is Mr Christian Asher  (currently at Norwich ) who would be happy to give more details if you are considering applying to this region.
