Hospital Profile

 

Hinchingbrooke Hospital is a small 304-bed district general hospital located in Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire. The hospital is managed by the North West Anglia NHS Foundation Trust. It has a well established general surgical unit who provide a wide array of surgical procedures. The department hold an interactive local surgical forum meeting once a month covering academia and non-technical skills for surgeons.

  • UGI - Benign UGI services (3 consultants) including laparoscopic CBD exploration and anti-reflux surgery
  • Colorectal - Colorectal cancer and benign service (3 consultants) including pouch and transanal procedures
  • Breast - Breast unit performing cancer and benign cases (2 consultant)

SpR Rota information
