Quality Improvement, Research and Audit Study Day -  East of England Core Surgical Mandatory Event

Free to East of England Trainees

All trainees are expected to produce an abstract poster to include title and list of authors.  Please do submit more than one abstract poster, if you have more projects. Deadline for abstract submission is 7th May 2025, submit your abstract poster to lisa.jackson@nnuh.nhs.uk

Your abstract poster is to be submitted as a single powerpoint slide to include title and list of authors.  Please submit an abstract poster such as that which you would prepare to take to the printers if exhibiting a poster at a scientific meeting. We ask for this format as it can give us an indication of your likely presentation skills and shows your ability to organise the key facts about the work you have done in an engaging format. It is also jolly good practice for preparing posters to take to scientific meetings.  Please do submit more than one powerpoint slide, if you have more projects.

The results of abstract poster submission will be issued on 21st May 2025.

Top scoring abstracts will be invited to give a face to face oral podium presentation on Thursday 12th June 2025 at Bob Champion building, Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital, Rosalind Franklin Road, Colney, Norwich, NR4 7UQ.  For those of you whom abstract posters are successfully selected for face to face oral podium presentation, then you should prepare your oral presentation slides for 7 minutes with a further 3 minutes for questions.  Remaining authors will be invited to display their abstract posters.

Prizes will be awarded to the winning abstract poster presentations.

This day is your opportunity to present your work on a regional stage.
