Day 1: Laryngology, could include, detailed anatomy, laryngeal re innervation, vocal cord surgery, voice clinic assessment algorithm, common voice condtions etc

Day 2: Genetic and congenital conditions in ENT: Could include PCD, common genetic conditions seen in ENT clinic, investigating congenital hearing loss, genetic testing in ENT etc (NB cleft lip- palate covered extensively in 2017)

Regional Registrars Presentation day, May 2018,

Day 1: Lateral skull base: could include CI team, Tumour surgery, investigations and rehabilitation

Day 2: Anterior Skull base: Could include investigations, olfaction, granulomatous disease of the nose, PNS tumours

Day 1 Balance: Could include clinic based assessment, tertiary referral testing, rehabilitation, common balance conditions

Day 2 Trauma in ENT: Could include ear trauma and reconstruction, Nasal trauma and reconstruction, Neck trauma and emergency management + any other subject of local interest


The Postgraduate Medical Institute, Anglia Ruskin University, is pleased to announce that it has secured full funding from HEEoE for Oral and Maxillofacial trainees and Otolaryngology trainees to attend our multiprofessional Trache-TIPS simulation programme. Details are as follows: 27th January, 24 March, 26 May & 7 July 2017
Trache-TIPS - Tracheostomies – Training and InterProfessional Simulation  
Workshops and simulation scenarios for doctors, nurses, ODPs and physiotherapists who manage patients with tracheostomies.

Approved by the Royal College of Anaesthetists for five CPD credits. CPD points are transferable between most colleges.

Places are limited and delegate registration is on a first come, first served basis. To register, please e-mail your name, grade and hospital to .
