BMJ / BMA

BMJ - The British Medical Journal is a global healthcare knowledge provider with a vision for a healthier world. They share knowledge and expertise to improve healthcare outcomes.

BMA - The British Medical Association represents, supports and negotiates on behalf of all UK doctors and medical students. They are member-run and led, fighting for the best terms and conditions as well as lobbying and campaigning on the issues impacting the medical profession.

e-Learning

The London school of hygiene and tropical medicine are running many free online courses.

Cambridge University Hospital have a youtube channel on with a range of videos.

BMJ learning has a wide range of online learning modules for members, including core procedures as well as topic management.

 

General Dental Council (GDC)

 

The General Dental Council (GDC) is the UK-wide statutory regulator of around 114,000 members of the dental team.

Their primary purpose is to protect patient safety and maintain public confidence in dental services. To achieve this, they register qualified dental professionals, set standards for the dental team, investigate complaints about dental professionals' fitness to practise, and work to ensure the quality of dental education.
