Sally joined the STGP scheme as Training Programme Director in June 2014. She has been a GP trainer since 2006, but has been involved with teaching since qualification; previously training Medical Students and Nurse Practitioners. She is committed to enabling the best possible training experience for our doctors, during hospital and GP posts, in the teaching afternoons, and with accessing pastoral support if needed.
She is a part time GP at Annandale Medical Centre in Potter Bar, is passionate about providing high quality, patient-centred care, and training GPs to manage the complexity, pressures and ever-changing nature of modern General Practice.
She qualified from Nottingham Medical School in 1988, having married another Nottingham Medical Student in 1987. They have 2 daughters and a crazy dog. She enjoys skiing, cooking, gardening, walking and learning anything new.
