East and North Hertfordshire Teaching NHS Trust Library Services

NHS Library Services are available to all East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust staff at Lister Hospital, Hertford County Hospital, Queen Elizabeth II Hospital and Mount Vernon Hospital, Trainee General Practitioners, staff working in the community, hospice staff and students on clinical placement.

Services include:

• book loans from stock
• inter-library loans
• document supply
• enquiries
• literature searching
• online requests
• information skills training
• access to electronic resources via NHS Open Athens. Register for an NHS Open Athens account at (Use your @nhs.net email to confirm your eligibility. You will receive an email to create your own password)
• advice on the best resources to use and how to search them effectively
• your local Athens administrator can help you if you forget your username and password. Contact librarylister.enh-tr@nhs.net
• current awareness services from your local NHS Library

Resources include:

• printed books and journals
• electronic journals provided nationally and by your local NHS Trust library. Visit BrowZine and click 'Choose my library' and type in the search box - East and North Hertfordshire Teaching NHS Trust and login with your Open Athens details to access the list of e-journals that are available to you
• databases and other electronic resources via the NHS Knowledge and Library Hub - (Use your Open Athens login details to search, save and download papers). Visit Knowledge and Library Services for more information
