Revision Notes HST Training Day 16082019
Venue: Mercure Hotel, Norwich
The Royal College of Emergency Medicine, Health Education England and NHS Improvement are excited to announce a one-day leadership development workshop for all emergency medicine trainees in the East of England.
Leadership is both about improving the quality of care to patients and making work more interesting and fulfilling for all of us. This dynamic and interactive workshop is designed as a foundation point to start learning about leadership: what it is and how we can all become better leaders whatever our clinical role in Emergency Medicine.
The workshop is rooted in the practicalities of leading in ED, both the challenges that we face and real things that can be done. This day provides a unique opportunity for emergency medicine trainees from all training grades to come together. There will be lots of opportunities to meet and discuss with your fellow specialist trainees during the day. At the end of the day you will come away with a better understanding of yourself, and some practical changes to carry forward especially to improve teamwork and handle the conflicts that often exist in this highly pressured setting.
The day will be delivered by the Faculty of Medical Leadership and Management in conjunction with, Brian Kennedy & Carly Farrow.
