Advanced Clinical Practice

Advanced Clinical Practice Fellow

1 Post to start between 15 December 2019 - 20 January 2020

Health Education England East of England (HEE EoE) is pleased to announce a new opportunity for an Advanced Clinical Fellow post.  The post is 2-2.5 days per week, allowing you to continue training/working alongside the opportunity to play a major role in increasing the impact of ACP across the system and increasing engagement with HEE in the east of England. You would be based at the HEE East of England Office in Fulbourn, although there will be some travel to Trusts around the region. 

The role is suitable for Trainees holding a National Training Number (NTN) or above/Advanced Clinical Practitioner with some experience of leadership and a passion to improve trainee experience alongside developing ACP across the region. You will have experience of working as or with ACP’s and an excellent understanding of ACP. You would be expected to start in post by the end of January 2020 latest. Please note that only trainees working within an East of England training programme are eligible to apply.

Anaesthetics Educational Fellow

Health Education England East of England (HEE EoE) is pleased to announce a new opportunity with an Anaesthetics Fellow post. This post is available up to 0.5 WTE, allowing you to continue training alongside the opportunity to play a major role in delivering a digital education platform and increasing trainee engagement with the regional teaching programme. You would be based at HEE East of England Office in Fulbourn, although there will be some travel to Trusts around the region.  

 

The role is suitable for Trainees holding a National Training Number (NTN), HEE East of England ST5 or above.  with some experience of leadership and a passion to improve the educational experience of doctors in training. The role can be tailored to your experience and interests. Please note that only trainees working within an East of England training programme are eligible to apply.

Mentoring Fellow

1 Post to start by 15th December 2019 - 20th January 2020  

Health Education England East of England (HEE EoE) is pleased to announce the continuation of two one-year Mentoring Fellow posts.  The posts are half time, allowing you to continue training alongside the opportunity to play a major role in the development of Trainee Mentoring Schemes in the east of England. 

 

The role is suitable for Trainees ST3 or above with some experience of Mentoring and a passion to improve the support and development of doctors in training. You would be expected to start in post by 7 October 2019.  

 

You would be based at HEE East of England Office in Fulbourn, although there may be some travel to Trusts around the region.  You will work closely with the Programme Director for Coaching and Mentoring to promote mentoring and support the establishment and development of Mentoring Schemes.

GP QI & Educational Leadership Fellow

QI & Educational Leadership Fellowship

Fellowship Opportunity – Applications are now Closed.

We are pleased to announce that we are reopening applications for our ST4 Quality Improvement and Educational Leadership Fellowships.

This is an exciting opportunity are for a number of fellows across the region to develop skills in educational leadership.

Successful applicants will undertake a one year placement consisting of 2 days per week in a GP practice, 2 days per week alongside the county TPDs and one day personal study. The fellowship includes funding to undertake a PGCert Med Ed – although a place for this would need to be successfully sought separately. See attached documents for full details.

Applications this cycle will be considered from trainees who are due to CCT in Autumn 2019/Spring 2020, and from ST3s who are on track to have passed their AKT and CSA examinations by December 2020*.

The fellowships will commence from the trainees CCT date, or in the case of trainees with a later CCT date - in early 2020 (completing the balance of their ST3 training after the fellowship).
