Leadership Fellows for Foundation Education and Simulation.

2 Posts to start early December 2020.

Health Education England, East of England (HEE, EoE) is pleased to announce the recruitment to one education and one simulation fellow posts. This is an opportunity for existing trainees to undertake a fellowship role whilst continuing with their clinical training.


You would be expected to start in post early December 2020. You would be based at HEE East of England Office in Fulbourn, although there will be some travel to Trusts around the region. You will work remotely to begin with due to COVID-19 and the current closure of the HEE East of England Office in Fulbourn.

The role is suitable for Trainees holding a National Training Number (NTN) and a passion to improve trainee experience. You would be expected to start in post by early December 2020. Please note that only trainees working within an East of England training programme are eligible to apply.


Please pay particular attention to the requirement to obtain pre-agreement from your TPD/manager and trust before applying for the role.

Interviews: 05th November 2020 – please note that this will be held via Microsoft Teams.

You will be expected to make a five-minute presentation on one of the following topics:

  1. Strategies for increasing simulation training in foundation
  2. Understanding what trainees and curriculum want for good generic training
  3. How do educational theories allow us to improve foundation experience?
  4. How can we improve the equity and quality of simulation training in the East of England?
