Training in Anaesthesia in the East of England
The East of England School of Anaesthesia encompasses a wide geographical area. Training in anaesthesia takes place in 4 teaching centres, 2 cardiothoracic sites, and 12 district general hospitals across the region.
Each of these hospitals have an RCoA College Tutor and dedicated anaesthetic Educational Supervisors.

Transitioning to the 2021 Curriculum 
Training in anaesthesia is now governed by the 2021 Curriculum for a CCT in Anaesthetics. Click here for general information about this curriculum.
Between August 2021 and the end of July 2023 the RCoA requires all Anaesthetists in training to transition to the 2021 curriculum if their CCT date is after 31st January 2024.
