The Chelmsford programme runs three timetables each year Autumn: September to December, Spring: January to April and Summer: April to July.  We aim to cover 30 sessions per year which uses 15 days of your study leave and are split between the terms.  The curriculum is covered by either local GP's or consultants from Broomfield Hospital or surrounding area.

The half-day educational teaching is based at the Medical Academic Unit (MAU) at Broomfield Hospital on Wednesdays from 2pm to 5pm.  It is mandatory teaching and we rotate our registrars to take sessions throughout the year.  We keep weekly attendance and feedback and it mandatory that you let your administrator Jenny know if you are unable to attend and your reasons for non-attendance.
