HEE EoE primarily recruit clinical staff to roles such as Associate Dean, Head of School and Training Programme Director. Associate Deans generally work on project/areas to either improve or implement new workforce solutions, which are designed to support the continued development of Health Education England (HEE). The roles are focused firmly upon improving patient and learner safety and experience, and ensuring effective educational outcomes.
Examples of areas Associate Deans may lead on are:
- Faculty Development
- Leadership and Management
- Simulation Training
- Professional Support and Well-being (PSW)
- Advanced Clinical Practitioners (ACPs)

If your application is shortlisted by the panel you will be contacted via the email address you provided on your application and invited to interview. Due to the current circumstances (covid-19), all interviews will be taking place virtually using a video conferencing platform such as zoom or Microsoft Teams.

The panel will ask you a set of questions and discuss the role with you, which you will then be notified of the outcome via telephone, followed by written email confirmation.
