The education centre is at the back by entrance 6 but people will not be able to drive in this way.
Entry and parking is available off of Prittlewell Chase via entrance number 1 in both car park A and the multi-storey car park (MSCP) which they should head for the left hand lane labelled car park C even though this is labelled staff only as this has since changed. There is a pay on exit system in operation using the card received as they enter.
Nearest station is Prittlewell station on the Liverpool Street line or Westcliffe station out of Fenchurch Street

- The venue is the ED Seminar Room in the ED building, please report to reception and they will guide you (doors are protected by security pass)

- Basildon hospital has a large multi-storey car park, however parking can be an issue in the morning so please allow some time for parking, you can claim the parking charge( in addition to mileage )through your study leave.

Notes for attendees:
Parking is notoriously difficult at Watford General and unfortunately, we are not able to over any subsidy. Please could trainees ensure they arrive in plenty of time and if possible, travel by public transport or car share. Watford General is in walking distance of Watford Junction mainline station, as well as the Metropolitan Line and London Overground.
Please also note that due to changes in funding from the deanery, we are unable to provide lunch on the training day. Trainees should either provide their own food or visit the canteen on site.

Leave A1M motorway, Junction 8, following the signs on the roundabout for Lister Hospital. Satnav: SG1 4AB
Parking is available in the multistorey car park with limited parking available on the road. Cost per day is £8.50 and we are unfortunately unable to offer a subsidy.
The education centre is located in the light blue zone (see map), a less than 5 minute walk from the multistorey car park (sign posted)
Public Transport:
There are regular trains from Kings Cross Stations to Stevenage train station. It is about a 2 mile walk to the hospital.
Regular Buses are available from Stevenage train station (either 301 or 55) to the Hospital.
