10am –4pm (depending on number of people presenting. Please email me to let me know if you wish to present - Yasmin Sultan Presentations should be about 15 minutes long, with 5 minutes for questions.
Venue: Lidgate Village Hall
Address:
- Village Hall
- The Street
- Lidgate
- Newmarket
- Suffolk
- CB8 9PP
Lunch:
This will be available at The Star Inn, Lidgate. From £5.00- £10.00 depending what you order, sandwiches, hot food, real ales.
Tea and coffee will be available all day at the Village Hall.
Directions to Lidgate Village:
From the A14 (about 10 minutes drive):
If coming from the West it is easiest to take the A142 into Newmarket. When you get to the clock-tower roundabout take the second exit (Station Road) and at the end of this road turn left. This is the B1063, Cheveley Road. Drive about 7 miles on this road (passing through Cheveley then Ashley) and the road will bring you to Lidgate. The Village Hall is on your left about halfway through the Village. You can park on the road.
If coming from the East you can take the route above. Alternatively you can come off the A14 earlier, either at the Higham turning (taking you through Gazeley and then Dalham) or the Moulton turning. Both these routes eventually bring you onto the B1306. You turn left onto the B1063 and Lidgate is about 1 mile further on. These routes are about 10 minutes quicker than going through Newmarket, but are quite complicated so you will need a map or satnav to guide you.
