Hospital Rotations

The hospital component of the training programme is based at Ipswich Hospital NHS Trust .

Psychiatry posts are provided by NSFT .We also have some posts at St Elizabeth hospice.

The hospital has a 24 hour Emergency Department and a full range of Medical, Surgical and other specialties. In community hospital posts you may be allocated to community hospitals in Aldeburgh, Ipswich or Felixstowe.

From Aug 22 -you will spend a year in hospital posts as an ST1- 4/12 in  three different hospital posts and then as an ST2 6/12 in an integrated post -this is a post which shares a hospital post with a GP post.
