The Educational Supervisor: Aseel Salman is an experienced Educational Supervisor, she obtained her BDS degree in dentistry at the University of Baghdad in 2000, she then worked at the Baghdad Faculty of Dentistry as a Senior Dentist for a few years whilst gaining her Masters in Prosthetic Dentistry in 2004 with Distinction.
She relocated with her family and started working in Norfolk in 2008 during which time she obtained her MJDF for the Royal College of Surgeons of England. Aseel completed a post graduate certificate in advanced aesthetic dentistry at Eastman UCL in
2015 with Distinction. Aseel completed a post Graduate certificate in dental Education from Bedfordshire University in 2018. Her special interests are Dentures, Crowns and Bridges, Veneers, Cosmetic dentistry including Smile Makeovers .
Aseel is always passionate about supporting newly qualified dentists, her aim is to give you the comprehensive variety of experience required for a successful onward career and to let you develop at your own pace in a safe environment.
In her spare time Aseel enjoys Cycling, Swimming and Cooking.
The Practice: Bridge Street Dental Practice has been established since 2001, Aseel took over ownership of the practice in July 2022 and started a program of complete refurbishment and modernisation. This includes the installation of a brand new computer system, the replacement of 2 dental chairs, a new Intra Oral scanner, the construction of a new xray room for the new OPG and CBCT xray machine, a new decontamination room, and the installation of a brand new surgery, taking the total number of surgeries to 6. Visiting private clinicians carry out Implants, Invisalign and Facial aesthetics.
Bridge Street has a comfortable staff room and kitchen area and a small private parking area at the rear of the building.
Aseel is supported by an experienced team of dentists and staff who are proud of our continued work under our NHS contract, we have a large and wide ranging patient base and offer a full and varied range of treatment. The team are very much looking forward to welcoming our new team member and offer lots of support to a newly qualified graduate as they start their dental career.
The Area: Fakenham is a delightful countryside market town in North Norfolk, just 20 minutes from the stunning Norfolk coast. The practices town centre location make it very convenient to wander around an good selection of independent shops and an excellent market takes place every Thursday. For those interested in keeping fit, there are local gyms, and a sports centre and a small 'traditional style' local cinema shows the latest movies. Popular with people from all walks of life, Nearby Burnham Market nicknamed 'Chelsea-on-Sea' has been named as one of the most upmarket coastal spots in the UK.
Fakenham is 25 miles NW of the beautiful city of Norwich, and 23 miles east of Kings Lynn both of which have mainline train services to London and Cambridge.
