International Trainee Support Fellowship

NHSE East of England (NHSE EoE) is currently running 1 new post-CCT International Trainee Support Fellow for each of the local ICB areas within the East of England.

Applications are currently closed. Depending on funding allocation, a new recruitment cohort may occur at the end of 2023.

What is the offer?

Inclusive of back-fill, the posts will see the successful applicants work 4 sessions a week to help deliver the GP School Differential Attainment Strategy; aiming to narrow the gap by supporting international trainees throughout their training, improve exam success, and thereby reduce the number of trainees requiring additional training time. Alongside this, the fellowship will provide successful applicants the opportunity to complete a fully funded PG Cert in Medical Education.

Am I eligible?

This is a post-CCT fellowship, open to GPs in the first five years of qualifying, working in East of England.

What funding is avaliable?

Organisations will be provided a standard salary contribution back fill rate for the fellows in order to release them for 4 sessions a week for the duration of the fellowship. 

The fellowship also includes the opportunity to undertake a PG Cert in Medical Education, which will be fully funded by NHSE EoE.
