SAS Doctors Bursary for MIAD CESR Course

Health Education England, east of England (HEE EoE) encourages SAS doctors within the region to attend this course, if interested in applying for CESR. 

"This workshop provides an introduction to the CESR process and takes delegates through the entire application process – from which evidence to include and how to present this clearly, common pitfalls and how to overcome them to preparing an effective CV. You will work in groups to assess the key requirements of a consultant within the modern National Health Service and there will also be advice and guidance on how you can gain your consultant post, complete with practise interviews."

Process for applying to attend:

To book a space on the MIAD CESR course please complete the following steps:

• 1. Email the SAS Doctor’s Administrator (sas.eoe@hee.nhs.uk) with your full name, job title, employers address, contact telephone number and the date you would ideally like to attend on (a list of course dates and location is available by clicking the MIAD link above).
• 2. Ensure you are able to schedule a day away from work on your chosen date prior to registering your interest.
• 3. The SAS Administrator will then book a place on your chosen date directly with MIAD and ensure the cost of the course is paid.
• Please note, if you fail to attend the course you will be required to reimburse HEE the full attendance fee (£270.00 inc VAT)
