Bridge and Panopto Learning Platforms

Teaching programme for the East of England Deanery is currently delivered through Bridge and Panopto education platforms.

We are privileged to have such platforms to register and save a record of teaching sessions which is taking place on zoom on alternate Fridays.

Bridge is an online learning management system where you can take eLearning courses to learn information for professional growth. You may also take quizzes to test your knowledge, earn certificates for course or programme completion, take surveys to provide feedback, and register to attend an in-person or webinar training (https://vimeo.com/190720028).

Health Education East of England have procured these software packages to enable the creation of video lectures remotely using your laptop and mobile devices throughout the region for all specialties. Panopto can be accessed through Bridge as well, with the same login details through the tools section.

The benefits of these blended platforms:

• providing a solution to continuing regional teaching
• COVID teaching and training for frontline staff  
• crucially allows every specialty to access each other’s resources and lectures so there can be cross pollination of education across specialties at a time when this would not be otherwise possible.
