The EOE regional guidelines (IMG handbook) for the international medical graduates (IMGs) and EOE regional guideline for trusts to welcome IMGs is available here to download.
There are many sources of support for IMG's in the East of England. Some resources are tailored to the needs of IMGs whilst other opportunities are more generic. Most NHS Trusts will have local groups you can join to get advice or direction. The NHSE East of England runs Enhance Induction multiple times throughout the year to induct new IMGs who are have recently started to work in the region or yet to start. You can book your place on the next Enhance induction here. Try to contact you local LED lead tutor to find out what activities are taking place locally. At a regional level you can access careers advice, PSW services and coaching or mentoring.
The SuPPorTT programme is designed to ease the return to work for clinicians who have had time out of work for various reasons; however the resources are very useful for clinicians new to the NHS.
Revalidation and ARCP advice is covered here: Revalidation & Assessment | East of England (hee.nhs.uk).
