Excellent pharmacy practice 

A wide choice of pharmacy practice is offered by the east of England, with  1,216 community pharmacies, specialist and generalist NHS hospitals and trusts, and primary care networks working in six integrated care systems. 

Our region is developing strong links across our pharmacy sectors led by  William Rial, Regional Chief Pharmacist, NHS England and NHS Improvement.  

Quality of life 

The east of England covers a diverse population of almost six million people, with a mixture of rural and urban areas and learning environments. The region stretches from the edge of London up to the Norfolk coast, and also borders the east midlands. 

The region offers much diversity and a variety of living. This includes masses of culture among the thriving cities as well as beautiful countryside and coastal areas.  

The area boasts fantastic transport links to places such as Birmingham and London via train or car, and has airports in Norwich, Cambridge, Luton and London Stansted.

The thriving cities of Cambridge, Norwich, Colchester, Ipswich, Milton Keynes and Peterborough boast a wide range of shops, restaurants and bustling cultural and entertainment sectors.
