Dear Trainees,

I am pleased to invite you to the 2018 Microsurgical Skills Course at James Paget University Hospital. This will be a repeat of the very popular course last May focussing on managing vitreous loss in cataract surgery. This will be hands-on practical course using Bausch & Lomb Stellaris phaco machines for anterior vitrectomy on artificial eyes with a validated vitreous simulation model, as well as the EyeSi virtual reality cataract simulator. You will get a rare chance to practice anterior vitrectomy and understand the principles of the management of this important complication of cataract surgery.

If you are interested in this course I would strongly recommend you book early, as we keep spaces to maximum of 8 in order to ensure good supervision and surgical opportunities for delegates.

Please see the attached flyer.

Best wishes

Tom Butler
