With 13 years of experience in NHS and private dentistry, I have developed a deep understanding of the field and a strong commitment to providing exceptional patient care. Throughout my career, I have been dedicated to continuous professional development and expanding my skill set. I hold an MSc in Endodontology from the University of Central Lancashire and I have also completed a PGCert in Contemporary Restorative and Aesthetic Dentistry, broadening the complexity of treatments we provide. In addition, I am a certified Invisalign provider and have trained in facial aesthetics, enabling me to offer a wide range of treatments to our patients. As a member of the College of General Dentistry, I stay updated on the latest advancements in dentistry, ensuring that I provide the highest standard of care. Outside of dentistry I try to maintain a balanced approach to life. I have a passion for weight lifting and I also value spending quality time with my family, as well as occasionally cooking. I am dedicated to providing a nurturing and enriching learning environment for newly graduated dentists. The Practice: Hilltop Dental is a modern and fully refurbished 5 surgery dental practice in South Birmingham providing dental care for around 15000 patient (some of whom travel several hours to come and see us!) Our dental team is made up of 5 dentist, a team of hygienist and fully qualified dental nurses and experienced reception staff. A lot of our dental support staff have undertaken additional training including radiography, impression taking and scanning with our intraoral scanner, treatment co-ordinators. We are committed to being a friendly and approachable practice, who provide dental treatment of the highest standards using the most up-to-date technology, knowledge and materials. The practice is well established and has been providing dental care for over 40 years. We provide all aspects of NHS and Private dentistry including tooth whitening, composite bonding, orthodontics, anti-wrinkle treatment, facial fillers. We also take referrals for more complex extractions. Hilltop Dental is We have modern equipment including rotary and reciprocating endodontics, digital X-ray system, digital photograph facilities, ultrasonic scalers, electrosurgery kit, prophy jet and air polish, speed increasing handpieces, intra-oral cameras, and good quality restorative materials. The FD surgery has been recently renovated and includes a Belmont Compass chair. LED overhead lights with an integrated patient mirror, fully adjustable electric delivery unit.
The Area: The practice is located in South Birmingham on a busy dual carriageway which is a major commuter route into Birmingham city centre. The practice is located approximately 10 minutes walk from Northfield train station and 10 minutes drive from both the M5 and M42 motorways.
We have a mix of patients; some who are very stable and amenable to more cosmetic treatments, some who are in higher treatment need allowing for the Foundation Dentist to gain a good range and variety of NHS dental work.
Other Points of Interest: We are a great team to work with. We have long standing, experienced and friendly staff and a family working atmosphere, operating an open-door policy. We regularly have staff outings and team building exercises.
