The Area: Leicester is a vibrant and multi-cultural city with lots to do and see. There are several shopping Centres, cinema complexes and places to eat, including the Highcross Shopping Centre, Fosse Park Shopping Centre, Cinema De Lux, Museums, Country Parks, and also our very own National Space Centre. There are great night clubs, bars, and restaurants to choose from and of course we have the 'golden mile' which is a must for Indian cuisine lovers and Indian fashion, and not to mention the gold and jewellery shopping. Leicester is a great place to be and live and there is something for everyone.
Other Points of Interest: The practice has a fantastic track record of foundation dental training since 2004. We aim to provide our foundation dentists (FD) with the best possible start for their career in all aspects of clinical, leadership, staff and practice management skills which are key elements for future success in dentistry. You will gain a wide range of clinical experience from an experienced educational supervisor and dental team. We are proud to say that all our former FD’s have had positive training years and have all gone onto either hospital or general dental practice posts. What is most important to us is ensuring our FD's are equipped with all the skills needed to start their dental career on the right foot with a solid foundation.
Kam Kalsi is also an elected member of the Leicestershire Dental Committee which represents local dentists and works on their behalf to improve and enhance their professional lives and liaises with the local NHS England commissioners. This input provides an invaluable insight into the changes that come through from central government into local commissioning and how that then filters through to general dental practice and what we do in terms of patient care for our NHS patients.
Please visit our website, and social media links (facebook, instagram, and twitter) for more about Willowbrook Dental and what we do and also see our patient feedback pages and testimonials that our patient's leave.
