The Educational Supervisor: I have been an ES on the Derbyshire scheme since 2020. I have throughly enjoyed my previous experiences has an ES, and I look forward to this year. I graduated from Birmingham in 2007, I completed my FGDP exams in 2012, I also have completed a PG Cert in Medical Education and recently completed a Level 5 with ILM in Mentoring and Coaching. I have very relaxed approach to my patient care and management. Recently, I have completed an Implant Course and have been fortunate to be mentored by some amazing Dentists.
Away from the practice, I enjoy spending time with my kids and family.
The Practice: We are a three surgery practice within the heart of Wirksworth. The practice is completely digital and all the equipment is up to date.
The Area: Wirksworth is a small friendly market town in the Derbyshire Dales. It is easily accessible via the A38 and the M1.
Other Points of Interest: My philosophy is to provide the FD with an environment within which they can excel both their clinical skills and personal skills. I believe this form of mentoring can only be accomplished in a relaxed and friendly environment.
