The Educational Supervisor: I qualified at University of Leeds in 1994. After a year of Vocational Training in Stourbridge I entered general practice as an associate working in Bearwood and Wednesbury for the next two years. I bought my practice in 1997 and I have been the Principal of Sedgley Dental Care since then. I have been an Educational Supervisor since 2014. I have part time clinical teaching post at Birmingham Dental Hospital looking after 3rd years which I have held since 2012. I have a passion for teaching and learning and I am committed to improving my own clinical and educational skills through postgraduate education. I have been placing dental implants since 2002 using Straumann, Dentsply Astratech and BioHorizon systems.

We have facilities for computerised record keeping using Exact Software of Excellence and digital radiography with a Durr Vistascan machine which provides intra oral radiography and a CBCT machine. We also have available a Trioss intra oral scanner for digital impressions. Belmont chairs and modern cabinetry make for a reliable and pleasant working environment. Our practice has close links with a large dental laboratory for Prosthetics and Ceramic work which is situated 2 minutes walk from the practice. This close proximity allows the straightforward involvement of the technician in chairside discussions. My associates have differing interests to my own and they are able to provide short term orthodontics using Invisalgn and facial aesthetics.
