The Educational Supervisor: I completed my BDS from India in 2004 and then went on to do a Master's programme in Prosthodontics which i completed in 2008. I have been in practice since then. I was a Professor teaching Prosthodontics to undergraduate and postgraduate students in India before moving to the UK.
I am a "Fellow" of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, USA and also a Diplomate of the Indian Board of Prosthodontics.
I have special interest in Prosthodontics, Esthetics and Implants. I am also an Invisalign provider.
I have delivered countless smiles over the years with the help of veneers, bridges, dental implants, dentures & restorations and would like to pass my knowledge and experience onto fresh young minds.
Outside of dentistry I like to spend time with my family and enjoy playing Cricket, Table Tennis and Tennis.

The Practice: The clinic has been in Diss since 1970!  We  have extended our premises in 2012 and then in 2021 and now have 8 fully computerized and equipped modern dental suites which are fully HTM01-05 compliant. We also offer an OPG service. We have latest equipment including digital x-rays, Cordless Intraoral Scanner, Root ZX Apex locators, Dentsply X-Smart plus endomotors and Physiodispensors.

The principal, Ara Madani, heads up our team. We have 4 full time and 3 part time dentists and 3 dental hygienists working at the practice. We have a dentist who has special interest in endodontics with over 25 years of experience. We also have a dentist with special interest in Oral surgery who also offers IV Sedation. The FD will get a chance to learn from them as well.

We have a team of 9 dental nurses who ably assist our dentists. We also have 3 reception staff who ensure the smooth running of the appointments. We aim to run our practice in a professional but friendly manner.  We have a wide range of patients, both NHS and private, children and adults - many of our patients have been with the practice for 40+ years!  We were CQC inspected in Sept 22 and our report was exemplary.

Our building is modern, accessible and welcoming. The consulting rooms are on the ground and first floor and we have an administration office on the second floor.  One consulting room is easily accessible for wheelchair users. We also have limited parking available just outside the practice.

The Area: Diss is an ancient Norfolk market town, close to the Suffolk border in the Waveney Valley area of South Norfolk. The town boasts historic churches, pockets of attractive woodland and a variety of shops, restaurants and cafes. It's noted for its wonderful Mere and fountain, which form the centerpiece of the town.  There are many beautiful county walks to enjoy..

Local specialist shops in the Heritage Triangle area of the town sell a range of unique goods, from craft gifts and antiques to vintage clothing and fine foods. There is an open air market every Friday.

It’s also worth paying a visit to the Corn Hall, built in 1854, but with a modern twist, it's a well-regarded arts and entertainment venue that offers a packed programme of events and free-to-access art.

Other Points of Interest: Diss has a mainline rail station to London (90mins) and Norwich (16mins).  Diss has an indoor swimming pool, bowls, tennis and paddle tennis clubs, athletics ground and various gyms.
