The Educational Supervisor: I qualified from University of Wales College of Medicine (Cardiff) in 2001 and then worked in general practice in London and Hertfordshire. I became the Principal Dental Surgeon of Ashwell Dental Surgery in October 2004 and completed my MFGDP qualification in November 2007. I enjoy working with nervous patients and children helping them to reduce their anxiety.
As Ashwell Dental Surgery’s reputation for quality care grew, in 2006 we expanded the practice from two surgeries to four in order to meet demand. Ashwell Dental Surgery is now part of the Dental Surgery Group of 7 practices in Hertfordshire, Cambridge and Essex..
I have a special interest in cosmetic dentistry and in September 2009 completed a year long course in cosmetic dentistry. I undertake the restorative part of implants and am also a Invisalign Go practitioner. I have been mentoring young associates within our practices for several years now and hope to give my foundation dentist the best start to general practice.

- As the practice is a rural village and the station is about 2.2 miles away with no/limited public transport for a 3 mile radius the position would be ideal for someone who would be able drive or willing to relocate.
Other Points of Interest: Ashwell Dental Surgery is the first dental practice that Bindi Shah and her husband Dipen Shah bought in 2004 and part of the Dental Surgery Group practices of 7 practices in Hertfordshire, Cambridge and Essex. All the practices have undergone modernization over the year and provide fantastic facilities. There is possibility to work post FD at other locations within the group. We are a friendly team which makes our working environment a very relaxed one. We have an open door policy and the FD is encouraged to discuss cases and get advice from all the team to develop learning opportunities. You will also have the opportunity to shadow our visiting specialists/dentists with special interest.
