The Validation Supervisor: Bindi qualified from University of Wales College of Medicine (Cardiff) in 2001. She then worked in general practice in London and Hertfordshire. She became the Principal Dental Surgeon of Ashwell Dental Surgery in October 2004 and is completed her MFGDP qualification in November 2007. Bindi is very passionate about dentistry and has the constant desire and drive to learn new and exciting techniques. She enjoys working with nervous patients and children helping them to reduce their anxiety.
As Ashwell Dental Surgery’s reputation for quality care grew, in 2006 she expanded the practice from two surgeries to four in order to meet demand. Ashwell Dental Surgery is part of the Dental Surgery Group of 7 practices in Hertfordshire, Cambridge and Essex..
Bindi has a special interest in cosmetic dentistry and in September 2009 she completed a year long course in cosmetic dentistry. She undertakes the restorative part of implants and is also a Invisalign Go practitioner. She constantly keeps up to date by attending regular courses.
The Practice: Ashwell Dental Surgery has been in Ashwell village for the last 50 plus years and has been at the present site since 1990, when it took over half the current site from the previous doctor’s surgery. Since 2004, when we bought the practice, we have gradually developed it into 4 surgeries.
We are predominantly a mixed practice providing a wide range of of treatments, both on the NHS and Privately, to all our patients. We have a full time hygienist, visiting Implantologist, Endodontist and Oral surgeon with a friendly team of staff that looks after all our patients needs. All the surgeries are modern and spacious and are fully computerized (SOEUK) with integrated digital x-rays, inter-oral cameras as well as a dedicated digital OPG room. We also have a central decontamination room.
The staff and patients enjoy the benefit of free parking.
The Area: The practice is based in Ashwell which is a affluent village in Hertfordshire. It is close to junction 10 of the A1(M) and there is ample free parking.

Our patient base reaches far and wide and we have a stable, loyal patient base. The practice has a very good local reputation
Other Points of Interest: Ashwell Dental Surgery is the first dental practice that Bindi Shah and her husband Dipen Shah bought in 2004 and part of the Dental Surgery Group practices of 7 practices in Hertfordshire, Cambridge and Essex. All the practice have undergone modernization over the year and provide fantastic facilities. There is possibility to work post PLVE at other locations within the group and we are able to provide sponsorship visa if required.
