The Educational Supervisors: N K Jandu - I qualified from the University of Manchester in 2006 and have since practiced in Yorkshire and Nottingham. As well as general dental practice, I have had experience in hospital based services at the Queens Medical Centre and community dental services in Derbyshire. I have a particular interest in treating children and nervous patients and find overcoming challenging cases very rewarding. I am member of the Royal College of Surgeons (Edinburgh) having completed a Diploma in 2009. I have looked after Foundation Dentists since 2015 and have found it to be a rewarding experience.  It has kept my knowledge up to date and brought a element of variety to our practice over the years.  

I joined the practice in 2015 after graduating from Cardiff University, Wales. I thoroughly enjoy and take pride in my work, particularly taking the time to get to know my patients and helping to overcome any fears or anxieties patients may have. I am currently working towards part two of the MJDF examination with the Royal College of Surgeons. When I’m not working, I enjoy cooking for friends and family and skiing.

The Practice: 5 Surgery practice providing a full range of NHS care.  We are predominantly NHS with an existing list of private patients with full scope of private care offered via fee per item or via a dental plan.  Our team currently consists of 2 Principal Dentist, 5 Associates, 1 full time hygienist and a part time therapist.  We also provide an Intermediate Minor Oral Surgery service with visiting Oral Surgeon.

Practice features include;

- Rotary endodontics with endodontic microscope
- On-site dental implant placement and restoration
- IV sedation service
- Specialist orthodontic service
- Specialist endodontic service

We hold regular practice CPD events and team meetings and have worked very closely with the Nottingham LDC for a number of years to organise CPD events for dentists. We are also provide CPD evenings through Dentinal Tubules.

The Area: A village location within South Nottinghamshire approximately 5 miles from Nottingham City. Generally serves surrounding villages with array of mostly independently owned shops and amenities. Very close to suburb of West Bridgford which has numerous restaurants, cafes and shops. Regular bus service from Nottingham City and West Bridgford areas. The practice has on-site parking for staff.
