The Educational Supervisor: I qualified from The University of Leeds in 2000 and have been a Practice Principal since 2013.  I am a highly motivated dentist with a keen eye for quality and customer service. Over the years I have gained a wealth of experience in NHS dentistry and have supported and mentored newly qualified dentists for many years.  I am friendly and approachable and try to create a relaxed learning environment through an open door policy so FDs benefit from having advice and assistance whenever required. My aim is to help my FD grow into a confident and competent practitioner. 

The Practice: Cannock Dental Care is a well-established, Independent mixed practice of over 80 years, with a reputation for delivering high quality dentistry as well as exceptional customer service (see our Google reviews!!). Due to year on increased demand, we have expanded and have relocated to a brand-new site. The new custom-made clinic has been designed by London based Paradigm Design and a specialist dental interior design team. The new bespoke site was opened in February 2022. It features:

• 6 brand-new, air-conditioned surgeries with Belmont chairs (soon to be 8 surgeries)
• Fully computerised using Dentally cloud based software
• Latest state of the art equipment and technology including digital x-rays, intra-oral scanner, rotary endo and more
• 12 ACPH (air changes per hour) throughout the premises providing clean, fresh air all day
• Established patient lists including waiting lists of new patients
• On site practice principal with over 20 years' experience to offer support, guidance and advice to the FD
• On-site parking

There are 10 dentists working at the practice as well as our hygienist.  The clinicians are well supported by the reception team and fully qualified nursing staff, some of whom have been at the practice for over 20 years.  The practice is spread over 2 floors with 2 waiting rooms and 2 dedicated decontamination rooms. The ES and FD surgeries are both located on the ground floor allowing easy access for the open door policy which Harjit Gill operates.

The Area: Cannock is a town in the Cannock Chase district in the county of Staffordshire, England. It had a population of 29,018. Cannock is not far from the nearby towns of Walsall, Burntwood, Stafford and Telford. The cities of Lichfield and Wolverhampton are also nearby.  

Other Points of Interest: The Practice is located in the Town Centre with lots of useful amenities within walking distance such as shops, banks, places to eat, coffee shops and a post office.  There are excellent bus and motorway links and a train station within walking distance from which runs a direct train to Birmingham.  The new McArthurGlen Designer Outlet Village is also within walking distance.
