Ashiv Mehta:

• Qualified 2017

• Completed DCT1 in Maxillofacial and Oral Surgery in 2019
• Completing a year long course in Restorative and Aesthetic dentistry

The Practice: Cranfield Dental Care is a well established family practice within the market town of Hitchin. We are now seeing the 4th generation of some families 

• We are a modern, recently renovated 5 Surgery Mixed NHS/Private Practice
• CBCT, OPG, digital radiographs with access to an intra oral scanner and dental microscope
• Well equipped dental laboratory on site.
• Rotary endodontics in all surgeries for NHS and Private patients
• Specialist Periodontist, Dentist with a Special Interest in Endodontics, Implant Surgeon and Oral Surgeon with sedation services offered at the practice.
• 2 Hygienists who work a total of 3-4 days a week
• A well experienced, friendly team who are very enthusiastic to support Foundation Dentists.
• We have a phantom head for hands on training on extracted and plastic teeth.

The Area: The practice is based in Hitchin on a thriving High Street within Hertfordshire. Hitchin is a historic market town located just north of London. We are always accepting new patients but also have a cohort of the local community who have been visiting us for many years

• 30 minutes commute by Car from North London (A1 junction 8)
• 30 minutes by  train from Kings Cross

• FD will be fully supported and encourage to progress at their own pace.
• Access to hands on training with a phantom head on site for the FD to practice on extracted and plastic teeth whenever required.
• Full support and access to online CPD from Dentinal Tubules paid for by the practice.
