The Educational Supervisor: I qualified in 1989, Liverpool Dental school - did Vocational training when it wasn't mandatory. Still enjoy dentistry after 30 years in practice. I am currently serving on the LDC and on the steering committee with the NEBDN for curriculum development.
I am in the middle of my Masters in Dental Education at Bedford University which has helped me to develop and enhance my skills to being an effective trainer.
My interests lie in going out to enjoy good food, theater and cinema - All have been hampered greatly by Covid

The Practice: We are a team of  enthusiastic multicultural Dentists  and DCP's - with additional NHS contracts in intermediate MOS and  Specialist Orthodontics. Most of our nursing team have extended qualifications in fluoride varnish , impressions , photography, radiology , oral health. We have orthodontic therapists and soon will have an ex-member of staff returning to us as a newly qualified hygiene therapist.
Our surgery is located in the Evington Road area of Leicester and serves a varied community. Our 7 Surgery practice is fully computerised with digital radiography. Through Covid our team has worked together  to maximise our FD's clinical exposure and experience to ensure the best possible outcome in the given environment. 
 

The Area: Leicester - has its own renound famous football team- the best - The Leicester City Foxes, we also have our Rugby team - The Tigers - sports theirs plenty to choose from - climbing , kick boxing , trampolining an hour down the road we have the Snow dome or dry ski slopes what ever takes your fancy. Water sports and Leicester Outdoor Pursuit Centre is not far either
Curries , desserts just simple fish chips - You will find something you like - as the team do like to go out to eat.
Theatre - we have the "Y" ,  they had some good stand up comedies, the Curve - interesting theatre productions. 

Other Points of Interest: We are Holders of the "BDA Good Practice", "The Healthy Teeth Happy Smiles  Prevention Award" , Participants in the national "Starting Well " campaign, holders of the Bronze award from Green Impact - Eco friendly dentistry  
We work hard, play hard and laugh together - We look for challenges to stretch ourselves- pre covid Our team went to Cambodia with Dentaid - in one day our team  saw 350 children and Fissure Sealed and Fluoride Varnished them!  Covid allowing 2022 we plan to go again.
