The Educational Supervisor: Ajay qualified from Kings College London in 2002 and has been an ES since 2009 and a Practice Principal since 2008. Ajay really enjoys being a ES and thrives on supporting the FD through their first year in practice. To improve his skills as an ES he has gained a Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Education and has received training in mentoring.

Ajay's contribution to FD training was recognised in 2016 with him receiving the "Educational Supervisor of the year" award across the entire East midlands region.

Ajay has a keen interest in tooth whitening and invisalign treatment. He enjoys seeing patient smile transformations and seeing patients grow in confidence. Ajay is an Invisalign and Cfast provider and is experienced in implant restorations.

The Practice: Brookview Dental is a busy mixed practice which is BDA good practice accredited since 2013. We have three practice principals all of whom are current ESs in the region, two part time associates and a hygienist.

We are located in a three-storey corner property in a residential area on a major arterial route in to Leicester, a short drive from the city centre. The practice consists of 3 treatment rooms, patient toilets, a ground floor waiting room, an x-ray room, dedicated decontamination room, staff toilet and staff room/kitchen. We offer care to a mixture of NHS, Denplan and private patients, encompassing all age groups. We are fully computerised with Carestream R4 practice managements software and digital radiography.

The practice has a lively informal atmosphere and we have regular social outings for lunches or evening meals.

The Area: Leicester is a vibrant multicultural city with plenty to offer everyone. We are located a 15 min drive from the city centre on a main road with off-street parking and a very short drive from a number of shops, restaurants and other amenities. 

Brookview Dental is on Welford road which is a major Bus Route. From Leicester Train station: Follow the A6 from Leicester City Centre, south towards Market Harborough. Turn right at Racecourse Roundabout onto Soar Valley Way (A563). Turn Right onto Welford Road (A5199) 

From M1 motorway: Leave the motorway at junction 21 and take the A5460. Continue on A5460. Take Narborough Rd S/B4114 to Soar Valley Way/A563. Turn left onto Soar Valley way (A563). Turn left onto Welford Road (A5199). The practice is on the right after 200 metres.

Other Points of Interest: We have a larger sister practice in Market Harborough and often get both practices together for in house training such as CPR and Medical emergencies. The two teams often get together for team building activities such as go-karting and charity cycle rides
