The Educational Supervisor: My name is Himesh Amin I have been an Educational Supervisor since 2016 along with my partner Amit Patel. Since 2017 we have had two FDs in the practice and we use our joint experience and knowledge to provide support for our Foundation Dentists throughout their FD year and beyond. I am a Platinum Elite Invisalign provider and as such complete numerous orthodontic cases together with full mouth rehabiliation cases. Amit and I contribute to the day release course of the foundation training scheme. When I'm not at the practice I enjoy participating in different sports including badminton, golf and most recently, tennis. I enjoy keeping fit in the gym along with socialising with friends. We provide numerous social activities at the practice throughout the year to aid team building and transition into practice. 

The Practice: Knighton Dental is owned by Himesh Amin and Amit Patel. As a Practice we strive to provide all our patients with the best possible care and treating patients as if they were our friends and family. We guide all of our patients through the treatment from beginning to the end, offering patients state of the art technology and continuing to develop and progress the practice. Knighton Denta Practice is a mixed NHS and private practice that has invested heavily in digital technology including CEREC Primescan and Itero. We currently have 9 surgeries along with a treatment coordinator suite for full use of all clinicians, including FDs. The practice has a large staff room with kitchen area and changing room along with a garden to enjoy the sunshine! We offer a wide range of treatments to patients and are fully computerised along with digital images and digital OPG. Our team is made up of 33 individuals which includes an oral surgeon providing complex and simple implant dentistry (whom  also mentors dentists), a dentist providing fixed orthodontic treatments, a treatment coordinator together with a fantastic management team. Each individual within the team is unique and different in their own way but we all fit together like a perfect puzzle. As a team we all work in sync which helps create a smooth running of the practice and patient experience. We encourage and help one another to progress and develop our skill set. We have an open door policy.

The Area: The practice is located on high street and we are located locally to Leicester City centre and Leicester Train station. There are numerous bus routes available and parking is available along the side streets around the practice.
