Apart from providing General Dental Services, we also have an NHS Orthodontic Contract and an NHS Minor Oral Surgery Contract for the Telford area.
Have a very keen interest in providing both NHS and private orthodontics including Invisalign and we are currently a ‘Diamond’ provider for Invisalign.

Amanjote Singh Sandhu
I graduated from the University of Liverpool in 2016. I completed my foundation training at The Smile Works, and have been a full time associate at the practice ever since.
I am keen to keep up-to-date with the latest developments in Dentistry, and have undertaken further training in Invisible Braces, Dental Photography and Tooth Whitening. I have also completed my Diploma of Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery (MFDS) of The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and a Post-Graduate Certificate in Contemporary Restorative and Aesthetic Dentistry.
Having completed a Post-Graduate Certificate in Medical and Health Education, I am now a joint ES at the practice

The Practice: Carlton Chambers is a seven-surgery practice with plentiful character it is a well-established practice which has grown to accommodate a happy team which provides a vast array of dental services. As part of the team we have 5 dentists and 1 hygienist who provide NHS dentistry, private cosmetic treatments, orthodontics, implants and hygiene services for patients. We have a treatment coordinator to assist our complex and nervous patients.
The practice is equipped with a digital panoral and ceph. There are also digital intra-oral x-ray sensors within each surgery. As part of our orthodontic, implant and cosmetic dental service we have an iTero intraoral 3D scanner. 
The FD surgery is fully modernised, along with all other surgeries in the practice. The FD surgery is spacious, welcoming and a pleasant working environment. The FD surgery is also directly adjacent to my surgery and my office where we will be able to hold tutorials in a relaxed setting. As we have been providing FD training since 2003 at Carlton Chambers so the team are very accustomed and welcoming to incoming FDs. The clinical nursing and administrative staff will assist you to settle train and expand your dental knowledge further enabling you to carry out dentistry with confidence and to the best of your ability.

The Area: Wellington is an old market town, now part of Telford, Located just 5 minutes off the M54.  Wellington has a local train station, a five-minute walk away from Carlton Chambers with good rail links to Shrewsbury, Wolverhampton and Birmingham. Telford is an affordable and vibrant town with lots of development and plenty of established amenities raging from a shopping centre to ice rink. Telford also has a vibrant social and night life. The Wrekin a five-minute drive from the practice and provides a rewarding walk with breath taking views of Shropshire. Also, within the local area is the Shropshire Hills Are of Natural Beauty which has many walking, running and cycling routes. Wellington provides a perfect blend between a busy city life and relaxing rural living.
Living in Wellington and the surrounding area is very affordable with new developments and viable renting opportunities, the team at Carlton Chambers will help you settle into the area to make your transition as smooth as possible.

Other Points of Interest: As part of the Smile Works team you will be involved in several team building sessions throughout the year. 
These include quarterly peer review sessions, where all clinicians are invited and presentations and discussions take place.
The practice also provides CPD on core topics, and we have an annual team-building day in the summer.
The FDs are provided with multiple observation and hands on sessions with our visiting oral surgeon.
