The Educational Supervisor: I was awarded the B.D.S qualification in 2000 from the University of Mumbai, and passed the IQE in 2004 from Guy’s Hospital, London. I completed my MJDF exams in 2015.
I was working as a GDP in Chelmsford, Essex until 2012 and moved to Shanghai and Bahrain for a period of 4 years during which time I developed a special interest in Cosmetic Dentistry. Since returning in 2014, I have been working as an Associate at Doncaster Road Dental Practice expanding my skills to include cosmetic orthodontics.
I have gained tremendous knowledge and expertise in dentistry and I enjoy the challenges with a drive for excellence. Having worked in various countries has further strengthened my knowledge and enabled me to practice with diverse cultures.
As a Co Director for Dentinal Tubules for Leicester Study Club, I aspire to engage in organising social events involving network meetings and clinical lectures as I’m passionate in developing the future for young dentists. During the Covid 19 pandemic, I have been actively engaged in many online webinars & meetings regarding the future of dentistry.
I live in Leicester with my husband and two children. In my spare time I love spending time with my family and reading. I am fluent in English, Gujarati, Hindi and Mandarin. I enjoy travelling, cooking and practicing classical Indian dancing. At present I am leading virtual cooking and Quiz nights via Zoom.
