The Educational Supervisor: I qualified with a BDS honours from GKT London in 2005. I then became an associate at a specialist implant practice and did a year long programme in Restorative dentistry. I have since carried out countless courses and participated in post grad education to further my skills. I am the practice principal of a well established busy mixed practice which has been servicing our community for over 50 years. I have a particular interest in restorative dentistry alongside implants and cosmetic orthodontics.My teaching qualification has contributed to an increasing interest in the practice as a training and supporting environment. I feel that myself and our team have developed an innovative dental practice that encourages everyone to develop and to fulfill their potential.
I enjoy squash, football and skiing, alongside travelling and family time.
The Practice: We have modernised long-established currently 6-surgery practice with 6 dentists, 1 hygiene - therapist, caring for about 25,000 patients. The work is mixed NHS and private with opportunities to provide quality dentistry. We offer all aspects of modern practice including but not limited too Implants, Adult brace systems - , Zoom whitening in house and take home kit. Our dentists here are long standing team members and have vast experience in general dentistry with specialist interests in cosmetic composite work and treating full rehabilitation cases. The practice has double fronted access to accommodate wheelchair access and a reception and waiting area which stretches across the full length of the practice. There is an established dental team and support staff ready to help our patients.
The Area: Our practice is well established and has a growing patient database. We are in the middle of Saffron Lane which is on local bus routes with a bus stop outside the practice. Due to our location a lot of patients walk to us. We also have parking at the front of the practice with designated disabled parking too. Close proximity to city centre (restaurants, leisure and fitness, bars etc...) We are also 2 miles from the M1 and M69 (M6) motorways junctions Not far from good quality rental apartments and houses.
Other Points of Interest: We have recently become accredited for the BDA good practice scheme so our patients can be assured we are providing the best possible care to them and their dental needs as we are regularly audited to ensure just this. Our practice is part of the dental pilot scheme for Healthy Teeth Happy Smiles in Leicester and we have been accredited for the award for a number of years. This involves us reaching out / going into the community. We visit children's nurseries, attend Oral health event days promoting good Oral health and dietary advice / support. FD training practice for 10 years. Great, sociable supportive team. Regular evenings and lunches out. Fun team building days.
