The Educational Supervisor: The Educational Supervisor has over 12 years experience in General Dentistry and 8 years experience as an ES. He is passionate with regard to training not only with FDs but also all new Nurses. In addition to General Dentistry Yusuf has completed an Implantology Course and is looking to offer Implants at Clay Cross Dental in the near future.

Outside of work Yusuf is keen in Martial Arts, being a Black Belt 4th Dan in Karate. He regularly trains in Jiu Jutsu.

The Practice: Clay Cross Dental has been an established Dental Practice for over 55 years with strong links with the Post Graduate Deanery, both as a training practice and in the development and delivery of the Post Graduate Programme. At the Practice a full range of GDS Services are available as well as Cosmetic Dentistry, soon to include Implants. It has BDA Good Practice Accreditation. The Practice has five surgeries with one being dedicated to the Foundation Dentist and located next to the Educational Supervisor's Surgery. Clay Cross Dental uses S.O.E. Exact software and has been fully functional in the use of digital x-rays for a number of years. It utilises the central sterilisation philosophy for its decontamination processes. Facilities for FDs include a dedicated Education Room with internet connected services and a Dental Library including BDA Guide Series

The Area: Clay Cross itself is a developing town situated in North Derbyshire close to the cities of Chesterfield and Sheffield. It is undergoing extensive housing development and general regeneration. Clay Cross has its own leisure facilities and a comprehensive bus service. Clay Cross enjoys motorway connectivity within five miles (Junction 29 of the M1) and Railway Stations at both Alfreton and Chesterfield a small distance away.

Other Points of Interest: Clay Cross is located within the Peak District  National Park with easy access to the Peaks, Chatsworth, Matlock, Chesterfield, Sheffield and the surrounding areas.
