The Educational Supervisor: I am the owner of Charming Smiles. I have been an ES since 2015.I graduated with honours from Poland in 2001.Together with my husband we took over Charming Smiles in 2012. We strive for excellence and transformed the practice with 4 new state of the art treatment rooms, purpose build decontamination room and facilities to the highest standards.
I have over 18 years of experience as a general practitioner in both NHS and private practice,my expertise extends in orthodontics (I'm an accredited provider of Invisalign,Inman aligner and I also offer traditional fixed braces), cosmetic dentistry ( minimally invasive smile makeovers), Endodontics and I have a keen interest in facial aesthetics. I'm experienced in coaching and mentoring. My goal is to provide a high-quality long lasting care in happy and comfortable environment. I have recruited a highly skilled and dedicated team and have invested in the latest equipment,laboratory support and staff training.I strongly believe in continuously extending my qualifications and I encourage and help my team attend postgraduate courses matching their needs and interest. I hold regular dentist and nurses meetings to discuss clinical and personal aspects of dentistry,practical tips and resolve issues of a clinical or interpersonal nature. I'm readily available in the practice to help and support staff members at the chair side or in any other way. Outside work I enjoy fitness, sailing and skiing with my husband and three children.
The Practice: Charming Smiles offers 4 modern, fully equipped (Belmont chair with left hand suitability, intra oral camera, digital x-ray unit, endodontic motor, Pentamix, fast broadband and intercom system) treatment rooms located on the ground and the first floor,a purpose built decontamination room compliant with best practice requirements as well as an excellent educational facility. There is a staff exclusive toilet with shower facility on the first floor and a separate patient toilet with disabled access on the ground floor. The practice has a spacious staff facility, ideal for meetings and relaxation (we have a table tennis table and run regular staff competitions). Charming Smiles has a dedicated team of 5 experienced dentists and excellent support staff of 5 qualified, highly skilled dental nurses, a trainee nurse and the practice manger. We believe in teamwork and like to know each other, hence we organise regular team building events including Christmas parties,Secret Santa ,Valentine's Day or we just simply go for a bite to eat together. Charming Smiles offers a full spectrum of NHS dentistry, which gives a great training opportunity for the FD. We aspire to provide a wide range of private treatments (Orthodontics,Cosmetic dentistry,Facial Aesthetics).

The Area: Our postcode for Satellite Navigation is DE24 8PZ. We are located in a residential area. Access to the practice by public transport is plentiful with close proximity to Derby Buss Station and Railway Station only 10 minutes away.
Parking is available in front of the surgery or on nearby streets. There are sign posted free car parks near the vets (opposite TescoExpress /Alvaston Express) and near Alvaston Park, both around 5 minutes’ walk.
The surgery is ideally located, with local shops, takeaways and Derby City Centre ,home to Intu shopping mall, only 10 minutes away. Alvaston Park is only 2 minutes walk from the building, ideal if you fancy a lunch break run or a stroll in a sunshine.
