The Educational Supervisors: Ann-Marie Bard has been an FD Educational Supervisor since 2014. She is now an associate at the practice. Laura Whitehouse has now joined Ann-Marie for 2019/2020 as a joint ES
Ann-Marie joined the practice as a partner in 2008 and then took over as sole principal in 2011. She has been involved in expanding the practice and bringing other clinicians into the practice to expand the services on offer.
Ann-Marie's outside interests are gardening, walking her dogs, Mediterranean cooking and up- cycling.
Laura Whitehouse joined the practice as an associate in 2015. Laura graduated from Leeds University in 2010 and has since spent time working in general practice both in England and Australia. Outside dentistry Laura enjoys spending time with her friends and family, horse riding, foreign travel and experimenting in the kitchen.
The Practice: The practice is a mixed NHS & Private practice. Purpose built in 2008. Modern spacious surgeries with air conditioning. The practice underwent a major refurbishment programme in 2018 with a new reception area, refurbishment of the FD surgery and other treatment rooms. The decontamination room was also refurbished .The practice is fully computerised and has digital x-rays networked throughout.The practice has disabled access. One of the joint trainers surgeries is next door to the FD surgery and we operate an open door policy between colleagues.
We are an enthusiastic, friendly and close working team comprising Principal and 5 associates providing general dentistry, implants, sedation, orthodontic treatment, facial aesthetics and the services of a Clinical Dental Technician. We work with three hygienists and a full complement of support staff including practice manager, Head nurse, Infection Control lead/Treatment Coordinator. There is an Itero scanner at the practice and Clinicians are developing the digital side of dentistry.
There is a new practice website in development which should be launched imminently. We are very happy to confirm that our Current FD Christie Grove will be staying on at the practice as apart time associate.
The practice is committed to postgraduate development and many of the team have undergone or are currently completing further training.

The Area: Cleobury Mortimer is a very friendly market town, located on the Shropshire/Worcestershire border. The practice in unopposed and serves a large rural community. Cleobury is the gateway to Shropshire and there is beautiful surrounding countryside.
Cleobury is easily commutable from Worcester,Shrewsbury, Bridgnorth, Kidderminster, and Birmingham(Takes 45 minutes to 1 hour). The town is well served with a modern doctors surgery, Leisure Centre, pubs, cafes and restaurants. For the foodies out there Ludlow is only 10 miles away with many excellent restaurants and there are a wealth of local walking trails to explore.
Other Points of Interest: The practice has achieved many successes with FD training with 4 out of the 5 FD's achieving awards for their coursework and performance during the FD year.
Ann-Marie's first FD now works at the practice as an associate.
