The Educational Supervisor: I have been and ES since 2013 and I am excited to welcome another young,dynamic dentist to our friendly practice. I fully understand now the needs of a new dentist in general practice and always strive to give them the best kick start in the world of dentistry. I am friendly and approachable, with my doors always open for the FD to come in and ask questions or request opinions. My varied experience in general Dentistry means that I can share my experience with you at every stage. So you learn from not only my mistakes but from my past mistakes as well. I do general NHS Dentistry and decent amount of Private Dentistry including
Invisalign, Implants, Cosmetic Dentistry etc. You will benefit from observing and assisting me in these procedures. Everyone is different which I realise and I will always give you time to evolve as a professional and as a person during this year. 

The Practice: Village Dental Surgery is a very friendly practice and most of the team is young, so you will get along with them quite well like the previous FDs have. The practice has 3 surgeries over 2 floors. Including the FD, we have 4 dentists working, so when I am not around, you will have support from 2 other dentists who are very experienced. The nursing and reception staff is very friendly as well and always happy to help. You will receive consistent nursing support from day 1 and you will be in charge of booking your appointments with reception. You will be offered a wide range of general dental activities which meet the criteria for your year. All of my FDs in the past have managed to do a lot more procedures than what has been recommended

The Area: Our practice is in Acocks Green, which is situated in south of Birmingham. It is on the border of Solihull borough, so our patients come from a wide area ranging from Hall Green and Moseley , Sheldon and Olton. We have a constant stream of new patients who present with mixed treatment needs which allows the FDs to perform a wide range of procedures as well. 
The practice is 2 min walk from Acocks Green train station and 2 min walk from all major bus stations in Acocks Green
