T.C. Patel: has 29 years experience in the dental profession and has recently been made Fellow of the Faculty of General Dental Practice (FFGDP) by examination which recognises his commitment to postgraduate professional development. It also marks his ability to deliver the highest standard of patient care and dental competence. His interests are Smile Design Cosmetic Dentistry, implants and orthodontics.
He has postgraduate qualifications in Restorative Clinical Practice from the Eastman Hospital and in June 2007 and he achieved Specialist Diploma in Dental Implantology (Advanced Certificate) at the Royal College of Surgeons of England. He has also held the post of Senior Clinical Assistant in Orthodontics at Southend General Hospital for 25 years. He is a member of the Clinical Performance Committee and the chairman of South East Essex orthodontic study group. Member of the British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and Association of Dental Implantologists and Course Tutor in Diploma in Implant Dentistry at Leeds Dental Institute. He is also a mentor on the Ankylos Implant System for Dentsply. His hobbies are playing golf, pilates and skiing.
Amit Patel: qualified from Leeds Dental School in 2013. He gained his MJDF in 2015.
The Practice: The practice was established in 1986 by TC Patel in a purpose built first floor premises neighbored by two medical practices and a pharmacy in the centre of town. The practice is very modern and has a large base of NHS and private patients and is awarded the BDA Good Practice Accreditation. It has been a VT training practice since 1999. Brickfields Dental Care has been established and developed over many years as a "family practice" and is well known and respected in the area. We have four surgeries, dedicated decontamination /sterilisation room, X-Ray room, staff room, large waiting room with flat screen television, reception area and practice manager’s office. It is fully air-conditioned and has been computerised since 1990. We have three hygienists, and a team of experienced PCD's and offer a full range of dental treatments from routine care to comprehensive fixed appliance orthodontics and complex dental implant based treatments. The Area: South Woodham Ferrers is a civil parish in the borough of Chelmsford in Essex, England. It is located on the north bank of the River Crouch. It is approx 35 miles from London and 15 miles to Southend -on-Sea and Burnham-on- Crouch. Chelmsford is 9 miles north. It has a population of 18,500. The local facilities available range from some small shops to a large ASDA superstore, wine bars and quaint country pubs. There is an excellent gym in town.
