The Educational Supervisor: I qualified from Bristol University and have been a ES for over 17 years. I am an experienced ES who has been involved in the various parts of foundation training and interviewing, recruitment of trainees and has taken part in practice inspections for new and recurrent trainers. I also am an examiner on the MJDF, LDS, NEBDN  and final BDS examinations.
On a part time basis, I was a honorary clinical lecturer at Kings College Hospital since 2009, and  currently a clinical teacher at Guys Hospital in the restorative department, where I teach 4th and 5th year undergraduate students. This makes me fully appreciate the transition that the trainee has to go through and the challenges they will face. In addition my postgraduate journey has taken me to do a Masters in Dental Law & Ethics, and I have just completed the MSc in restorative and aesthetic dentistry at the University of Manchester. I have had training in medial legal reporting as a expert witness by Bond Salon and have supported the General Dental Council. This gives me unique knowledge of the challenges that the new trainee will face and how to overcome them for a safer approach to practice. Therefore the  trainee will gain a vast insight into various risk management and different strategies.
I run two large practices both NHS and private which gives me unique skills in leadership which I am keen for the trainee to acquire as well.
I have also been a past member of the local dental committee, and takes an interest in the issues that involve the local dental community.
I am a keen sportsman and play badminton 5 times a week and is enjoys traveling.
