The Educational Supervisors: Agnieszka Marcinkowska-Lagosz. I qualified from Medical University in Wroclaw, Poland in 2001 and together with my family moved to England in 2005 and settled in Essex where I was working in a large NHS practice. In 2018 I decided to purchase Great Horkesley Dental Studio and, from 2021 I was awarded an Educational Supervisor position.

I am very passionate about providing dental services to our patients. They are given all the help and support available to achieve their dental fitness and aesthetic needs, which I find very rewarding. I am a very experienced general dental practitioner with keen interest in endodontic, orthodontics and a digital dentistry workflow. I am very much looking forward to passing on my experience and enthusiasm for dentistry to the new generation of dentists. It is a real privilege to play a part in the Foundation Dentist's first clinical position and to guide their progression within the dental sector.

Hind Abduldaiem. I graduated from Baghdad University in 2001 I then relocated with my family in 2006 to the UK gaining LDS RSC England in 2014. I joined Great Horkesley Dental Studio at the beginning of March 2020 two weeks before the countries first lockdown due to Covid 19!!

Great Horkesley dental is the embodiment of a high street practice looking after multi generational family members. I relish a challenge so when I was asked by our principal dentist to consider becoming an ES I jumped at the chance as this is an amazing opportunity to help guide and support newly qualified dentists. I have a passion for prevention and education I also took a diploma in prosthetics in 2023.
I love spending time with my family and love cooking for them and for my colleges at GHDS.

The Practice: Great Horkesley Dental Studio has three surgeries; surgery one, reception and OPG/staff changing room are located on the ground floor with the two remaining surgeries, the Practice Manager’s office, staff and patient toilets and first floor waiting room are located on the first floor. The practice is fully computerised, using Software of Excellence (Exact) and digital radiographs including an OPG machine. The surgery offers a good range of dental materials and equipment with a rotary endodontic system, intra oral cameras and Dentsply Sirona Primescan and Primemill. The dentists are supported by a team of experienced, multi-skilled nurses, receptionists and the practice manager. Alongside myself there are two experienced associates and two dental hygienists.

We are very busy mixed practice, with a good cross-section of the local populace.

We operate an open door policy for our clinicians and encourage discussions within the clinical team when dealing with complex care pathways.

The Area: The practice is located in the picturesque village of Great Horkesley which is on the outskirts of Colchester, Essex, and is only 2,5 miles from the A12 London to Ipswich main road. It also has excellent public transport links including a direct service from Colchester Railway Station. Colchester is only 20 minutes from the coast and 50 minutes by rail to London Liverpool Street.
Although there is no onsite parking for staff, there are plenty of nearby parking spaces available.

There are two new housing developments close to the surgery with plenty of different types of properties to offer.
