The Educational Supervisors: Bindi qualified from University of Wales College of Medicine (Cardiff) in 2001. She then worked in general practice in London and Hertfordshire. She became the Principal Dental Surgeon of Ashwell Dental Surgery in October 2004 and is completed her MFGDP qualification in November 2007. Bindi is very passionate about dentistry and has the constant desire and drive to learn new and exciting techniques.
Bindi has a special interest in cosmetic dentistry and in September 2009 she completed a year long course in cosmetic dentistry. She undertakes the restorative part of implants and is also a Invisalign Go practitioner. She constantly keeps up to date by attending regular courses.
Radhika graduated from the University of Bristol in 2018. Following FD and a year in hospital she joined Aswhell Dental Surgery in 2021. Radhika has treated patients with a wide range of needs in general dentistry and hospital settings. Her holistic treatment approach aims to promote general wellbeing in addition to dental health.
Radhika understands that the dental visit can be daunting for some and is committed to creating a comfortable atmosphere, particularly for those with dental anxiety. She especially enjoys treating children and believes providing a positive experience is essential to their oral health journey.
The Practice: Ashwell Dental Surgery has been in Ashwell village for the last 50 plus years and has been at the present site since 1990, when it took over half the current site from the previous doctor’s surgery.
Since 2004, when Bindi bought the practice, She has gradually developed it into 4 surgeries.
Ashwell Dental Surgery is predominantly a mixed practice providing a wide range of of treatments, both on the NHS and Privately, to all our patients. We have a full time hygienist, visiting Implantologist, Endodontist and Oral surgeon with a friendly team of staff that looks after all our patients needs.
All the surgeries are modern and spacious and are fully computerized (SOEUK) with integrated digital x-rays, inter-oral cameras as well as a dedicated digital OPG room. We also have a central decontamination room.

Other Points of Interest: Ashwell Dental Surgery is the first dental practice that Dr Bindi Shah and her husband Mr Dipen Shah bought in 2004 and part of the Dental Surgery Group practices of 7 practices in Hertfordshire, Cambridge and Essex. All the practice have undergone modernization over the year and provide fantastic facilities. There is possibility to work post FD at other locations within the group and we are able to provide sponsorship visa if required.
