Programme This will be updated on a weekly basis and will give you information about Day Release (teaching) You will not* be reminded about teaching sessions, please check the programme on a regular basis – you will be expected to attend a day release, unless you are working, A/L, sick leave – please let Carol Lucas know if you cannot attend and the reason why carol.lucas@nnuh.nhs.uk. *there may be some sessions with limited spaces, you will be emailed and will be given a place on a 1st come 1st served basis.
All teaching in Norwich unless otherwise stated will be held in the Bob Champion Research and Education Building (TBC). When you are based in practice you will be in Group A, when in a Hospital rotation you will be in Group B.
Non attendance at teaching Details of attendance at teaching in terms of percentage attended, authorised absence (work, sick, AL, nights etc), unauthorised absence etc. on to each registrars ePortfolio in the educators notes. Please be aware that you will have 1 week following a missed teaching session to contact Carol with the reason for non attendance. After this point it will be counted as an un authorised absence. You will not be chased to account for absence.
Norwich teaching will start promptly at 09:00 with registration between 08:30 – 09:00. Lateness will be recorded on your ePortfolio (attached policy)

Carol and I are available by phone and email Monday-Friday 08:00-16:00. I am on site on a Wednesday, but still available Monday-Friday by phone or email. Carol will be on site Monday – Thursday and by email on a Friday.
