Advanced Surgical Skills / Thoracotomy Course

This one-day practical course is available to Emergency Medicine Higher Specialist trainees within the East of England Region.

This course focuses on resuscitative thoracotomy but also includes some additional technical skills including surgical cricothyroidotomy and lateral canthotomy.

This course is FREE to East of England PHEM, ST6,ST5 and ST4 trainees – subsidised by the School of Emergency Medicine, due to high demand - priority bookings will be given to ST6, ST5 and PHEM trainees via invite. ​

Please kindly ensure that you have Study Leave granted - as there will be no further offer made if you agree to come yet do not turn up for the course.
