Parking: Parking is available on site and costs around £28/month which comes out of your pay check but is means tested and most people do not get parking following application unless they live particularly far away. You can park there anyway but it is very expensive. Free parking is available on Pebble Mill Rd but is very limited and usually involves arriving around 7:30am. Side roads also have free parking and are a short walk away to BDH but not always guaranteed and can get quite busy. There is also a nearby payable car park off Pershore Road.
Accommodation/Transport: No accommodation required at BDH. For those doing non-resident on call at BCH, you can prebook a room to sleep for approx. £30/night, although if you live within a 20 min radius it’s not necessary. There is also a makeshift area in the Education Centre in BCH for rest between calls or late nights.
