The Educational Supervisor: I have been an ES since 2019, I have a MSc in aesthetics and restorative and can help with any restorative cases you may get. Pam the principle dentist has been a TPD for the oxford deanery in the past, she is available and very knowledgeable about the DFT program and is an experienced dentist. Anand is our endodontist which has been here since 2019 he is also available for advice on cases and treatment planning. Lauren is our orthodontist who can help with ortho cases. We have an implantologist starting with us who can help with any cases. We try and provide a well supported environment where everyone is friendly and experienced and happy to offer help and advice. There is a broad range of specialist and established associates so there is plenty of advice and support available to help you explore any interests.
The Practice: There is a range of patients varying from well maintained mouth to new patients where a lot more treatment will be needed. patient are usually compliant and listen to advice given and are very thankful for the the work we do. The FD will work in a modern well equipped surgery with an experienced nurse.
The Area: Woodhall Spa is a beautiful inland resort with an Edwardian character, set amidst pine woods. Regarded as one of Lincolnshire's most attractive villages, Woodhall Spa is famous for its peaceful and relaxing atmosphere, and with many fine hotels and guest houses it is the perfect location for a short break or holiday. The village has a variety of attractions including two top class golf courses, the unique 'Kinema in the Woods', Cottage Museum, Jubilee Park outdoor heated swimming pool and several aviation heritage sites associated with 617 Squadron (the Dambusters).
Other Points of Interest: Woodhall Spa is a lovely village where we would also recommend you found accommodation. Many of our staff live in the village and I know they will have nothing but positive things to say about the area. There are plenty of flats and houses available to rent and everything you may need is walking distance. There is a GP practice, supermarket and regular bus service to the local city Lincoln that goes from the village. Lincoln is 30 mins away and there you will find all mainline trains that run to other cities. For the year there is plenty to do to keep you occupied and entertained, I would highly recommend living here.
